About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casting Foreman to join our team at Kobe Aluminum Automotive. As a key member of our Casting Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production schedule, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, and facilitating training among employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Monitor activity on the production floor, verify standard work procedures, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Team Management: Manage the Melting and Casting teams, responsible for training of operators, and day-to-day operations of the team.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure all team members have proper PPE in good condition, promote safe work procedures, and ensure quality checks are performed on time and correctly.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, perform data entry in QAD, and maintain accurate production paperwork.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is operating properly, inspect tundish condition, and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience in an automotive environment.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience with molten aluminum or similar environment.
