Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to fill a full-time role in a school setting. This position requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field, and active licensure in Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have effective communication and team collaboration skills, with prior experience in a school setting preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students
  • Create and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert insights and progress updates to educators and families
  • Maintain thorough records of student progress and adapt intervention plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with educational staff and parents to foster an inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Active Kentucky SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
