Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation
    • Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services.
    • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts to provision and manage AWS resources.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Maintenance and Support
    • Enable configuration management, ensuring consistent and secure deployments across various environments.
    • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containers.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Cloud Security and Compliance
    • Implement proactive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and security compliance.
    • Provide immediate notification and detailed communication in the event of system-wide outages or performance issues.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement innovative approaches throughout the SDLC.
    • Conduct performance testing and regression testing after major releases to ensure system stability.
    • Utilize DevSecOps processes to enhance speed, agility, and reduce risks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 8 years of Cloud Engineering experience.
  • Must possess and maintain TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of AWS core services such as EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, and others.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java, TypeScript, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Professional certification(s) in AWS.
  • Preferred to have experience managing AWS environments.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, containerized application.
