About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Installation Specialist to join our team at The Robert E. Morris Company.
Job Summary
The Industrial Machinery Installation Specialist will be responsible for installing and testing various machine types and related equipment at customer sites. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install and test machines and equipment
- Apply technical manuals, documents, and internal resources to complete installations efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation progress and issues
- Test all machine functions and installed options to ensure proper operation
- Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date with new products and technologies
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic digital literacy and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift moderate to heavy weights (up to 50 lbs.) with assistance
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience. Additional benefits include:
