Job Title: Senior CNC Equipment Specialist
About the Role:
The Robert E. Morris Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex CNC equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to install and commission CNC equipment
- Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine tool installations
- Ensure accurate documentation is completed and submitted to the office and customer regarding issues and machine status
- Test all machine functions and installed options to complete the installation
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool product lines represented by the company through training and development
Requirements:
- Proficient verbal and written communication and customer relation skills
- Able to interact and effectively communicate in person and over the phone with customers and co-workers
- Presentation of a professional image
- Ability to adapt to changes and deal with delays or general work-related issues
- Basic digital literacy and understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Electro-mechanical skills (motors, drives, transformers, etc.) and ability to develop them further
- Knowledge of machine tool manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance & repair and/or a broad shop background – is a plus
- Rational decision-making and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
- Exposure to manufacturing/machining environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated or manual machinery
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
