Job Title: Rail Tour Concierge

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Rail Tour Concierge to join our team at Holland America-Princess Alaska-Yukon Land Operations. As a Rail Tour Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while sharing the amazing tours and features of our land-based operations in Denali National Park.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accompany a range of up to 88 guests per train car and provide suggestions for dining, entertainment, optional excursions, and the following day's itinerary.
• Communicate with Denali area lodges regarding any special requests pertaining to the hotel, dietary, and mobility issues.
• Effectively manage manifests to keep an accurate record of tour availability for future dates.
• Routinely present information for up to 88 guests at a time on a microphone and complete handwritten tour sale vouchers fully and legibly.
• Regular entry of tours into a POS system and complete all necessary paperwork, including daily reports, luggage counts, and sales reports.
• Assist in the reconciliation of all tour sales and assist with Food & Beverage operations when needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Participates in HAP's sustainability program and efforts to ensure a safe workplace and a safe vacation experience for all guests.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
