Banquet Cook

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a Banquet Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food in accordance with established standards and specifications.

• Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring quality, quantity, taste, and presentation meet our high standards.
• Check food for taste, temperature, and eye appeal, making adjustments as needed.
• Cut, trim, bone, and carve meats and poultry for cooking.
• Prepare and submit requisitions to the Chef for food items.
• Receive and check food inventory and supplies for quality and quantity.
• Rotate and place all food in clean containers, labeled and dated.
• Prevent the spoiling and contamination of foods by practicing proper sanitation and complying with policy and health regulations.
• Accommodate guest requests for special food items as available.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to local health authority and management team guidelines.
• Consult with the Executive Chef and/or Banquet Manager regarding week's forecast, special functions, and volume of expected concession activity.
• Work with stewards to ensure assigned station is kept clean, properly stocked, and properly maintained.
