Project Facility Manager

As a Project Facility Manager at Syntricate Technologies, you will be responsible for leading moderately complex projects with medium to high corporate priority. You will provide subject matter expertise in project management, setup of local project offices, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, and facilitation. Your extensive knowledge in construction principles, estimating, and all associated trades will be essential in developing and maintaining project schedules, costs, safety, quality, and customer expectations/satisfaction. You will also present to management and/or customers on project updates, project cycles, and expected results, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring projects are closed on time and in scope.
Key Responsibilities
• Methodology: Understanding of Project Management Institute's (PMI) methodology and key knowledge areas; Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, and Procurement Management.
• Project Management Skills: Managing construction activities, including reviewing drawings and specifications, participating in design meetings, providing best practices, commissioning, construction site evaluations, and inspections.
• Communication/Coordination: Responsible for communication and status reporting to project staff, customer, and Johnson Controls management, as well as work plan management, project resources, duty assignment, responsibilities, scope of authority, and providing technical advice and problem resolution.
• Fiscal: Tracking project expenditures and installation progress through reviews of status reports prepared by project personnel, modifying schedules of plans as required, and maintaining full financial accountability to the project.
• Quality: Maintaining full accountability to project quality, conducting inspections of worksites, ensuring workmanship meets Johnson Controls installation required quality standards and expectations.
• Customer Service: Providing responsive, concise, and professional support to all customers and other personnel, ensuring timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues.
Requirements
• Bachelor or Associates Degree or equivalent work experience of at least five years.
• PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment in the position.
• 5-7 years of Project Management experience, preferably in facilities or new construction, with Facility Management, MEP, and low voltage controls experience being a plus.
