Position Overview

Position Title: Medical Assistant Certified

Compensation: $23.39 per hour

Role Summary:

This is a full-time Medical Assistant position available at our Aberdeen Medical Clinic. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional customer service skills, maintain a professional demeanor, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Medical Assistants play a vital role in the healthcare team, ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering quality care in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to protocols for patient rooming and exiting procedures.
  • Facilitate all provider referrals for patients.
  • Administer injections and dispense oral medications as per physician orders; perform venipuncture.
  • Assist medical providers with documenting office visits, ensuring effective communication and comprehensive patient care coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or an Interim License and successfully pass the exam within the initial probationary period.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Experience with EPIC is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous but not essential.
