Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Clinical Assistant for our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service abilities, exhibit a positive and professional attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Clinical Assistants play a crucial role in the healthcare team, facilitating patient flow and delivering high-quality care in a secure and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established protocols for patient intake and discharge
- Manage all provider referrals for each patient
- Administer injections and dispense oral medications as directed by physicians; perform blood draws
- Support the healthcare provider with documentation of patient visits; ensuring effective communication and record-keeping for comprehensive patient care coordination
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of Duties/Responsibilities. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or possess an Interim License and successfully complete the exam within the designated probationary period
- Required to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within the initial employment period and maintain current BLS CPR certification throughout employment.
- Experience with EPIC software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
