We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Information Resource Center Representative to join our team at Blue Shield of California. As a key member of our Community Programs team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our members and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide training support for live calls and handle escalated issues that require specialized expertise.
- Responsible for special processing assignments, coordinating with various departments as needed.
- Lead the research, development, and execution of special events at our Information Resource Centers.
- Assist with facility operations, including ordering supplies, writing desktop procedures, and processing vendor invoices.
- Assist with organizing and hosting unique quality events and participating in on-site and off-site activities.
- Assist with developing programming for the center and locating and vetting potential vendors for programming.
- Requires at least 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices, typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.
- Requires being bilingual in Spanish, as demonstrated by successful completion of an oral language proficiency test upon hire.
- Requires Medi-Cal knowledge and experience.
- Experience with community resource centers, customer service, and program development is strongly preferred.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, professionalism, and dependability in all workplace activities.
