About the Role

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Monitor Technician to join our team in a critical care setting. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by continuously observing and monitoring their vital signs, identifying any irregularities, and reporting concerns to the RN in charge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
  • Identify and report any irregularities or concerns to the RN in charge
  • Ensure that heart monitors are functioning correctly and troubleshoot any issues
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
