We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Watts Company. As a key member of our EH&S team, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, industrial hygiene, and occupational health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement existing EH&S programs and ensure ongoing compliance through participation in compliance audits and internal audits.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure regulatory compliance and provide effective health and safety training for all employees.
- Conduct risk assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and facility audits to eliminate, minimize, and control existing and potential hazards.
- Review incident and accident reports to determine measures needed to prevent recurrences, including root cause analysis.
- Support EH&S Platform Leader in the organization and scheduling of safety committee meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in EH&S or related field.
- 5-10 years work experience in EH&S compliance.
- Good understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory authority, including EPA, OSHA, DOT, and familiarity with federal, RCRA, CWA, SWPPP, SPCC, PSM, PHA, LOTO, PPE, HAZMAT, Machine Guarding, GHS, Confined Space Entry, Crane Safety, and Forklift Training.
