The Progress Center Inc is a leading provider of supportive services to adults, children and their families living with disabilities in Western Maine.
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Children's Services Team as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP). As a BHP, you will work closely with families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote social functioning, behavioral functioning, functional life skills, and independent functional life skills.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide direct support services to children and their families in home and community settings.
- Attend team meetings with other professionals involved with the child and family.
- Participate in scheduled staff meetings.
- Comply with all federal, state and local regulations as regards rights of children in need of treatment and mandatory reporting.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation is necessary.
- BHP Certification is preferred, but can be obtained within one year of employment.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The Progress Center Inc offers a range of benefits, including paid training and professional development opportunities.
