Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled General Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site installs, ensuring adherence to specifications and codes, and overseeing all activities on a construction site. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate site installs from facility development to facility equipment installs and commissioning
  • Ensure adherence to specification and code requirements
  • Oversee and coordinate all activities on a construction site according to project blueprints and schedule plans
  • Assign and monitor tasks given to personnel
  • Monitor productivity and efficiency of operations, ensuring ACI's quality standards and procedures are maintained
Requirements
  • 10 years' experience in construction and steel fabrication
  • 5 years' experience as a Superintendent or similar position
  • Basic knowledge of software programs, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to vendors, government officials, and clients
  • Good reading comprehension for technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when addressing customers, clients, or official visitors to the worksite
