About the Role:
As an Amtrak Support Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our passenger services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch customer service to our valued passengers. This involves greeting and serving customers, assisting with special needs, and ensuring that their travel experience is seamless and enjoyable.

Key Tasks:
  1. Meet and greet passengers, providing them with assistance and support as needed
  2. Process tickets, manage funds, and maintain accurate records
  3. Operate ticket printers and Quik-Trak machines, keeping information displays up-to-date
  4. Disseminate critical information on schedules, fares, and other travel-related topics
  5. Evaluate train boarding efficiency, verify travel documents, and enforce baggage regulations
  6. Perform routine cleaning tasks, handle checked baggage and packages, and maintain company materials
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in baggage and express operations, rate quotes, and customer service
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, operate equipment, and move around stations
  • Proven skills in processing Amtrak tickets, understanding tariffs, and operating various software systems

  • A friendly demeanor, ability to interact with diverse groups, and proficiency in public speaking
Compensation:$32.33 per hour (competitive salary)
