Job Summary:

This role involves performing raw material duties to ensure continuity of laboratory testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that testing is performed accurately and in compliance with GLP, GMP, USP, SOP, and other approved test methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing of incoming raw material samples using primarily wet bench and physical techniques.
  • Ensure accurate recording of raw data and analysis, calculation, and interpretation of results.
  • Maintain reagents and chemicals in the laboratory, including inventory management, SDS documentation, PPE requirements, waste generation, and disposal.
  • Promote GMP and safety throughout the facility.
  • Promote continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in other activities assigned by the Quality Supervisor and Manager.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will require knowledge of various basic laboratory techniques used in an analytical laboratory, including volumetric glassware, analytical weighing, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, titrations, and infrared spectrum.

You must also have the ability to use a personal computer and peripheral equipment to accurately enter and analyze data, produce reports, and communicate effectively with others.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or an appropriate life-science discipline.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
