Role Purpose

The Corporate Account Executive (CAE) will spearhead the acquisition of new Corporate Accounts. This role focuses on identifying and pursuing sales opportunities primarily within Fortune 1000 companies. The CAE's main objective is to recognize and advance selling prospects within corporate relationships. This individual must possess the capability to manage extensive corporate purchasing programs and effectively convey the sales process to relevant distributor teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the authority on IPG product offerings to successfully market our solutions to Corporate Accounts.
  • Identify and secure new Corporate Accounts within the Fortune 1000 sector.
  • Collaborate with IPG Technical Application Specialists to assist end-users in selecting the appropriate solutions for their specific requirements.
  • Conduct product trials and evaluations throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain strict adherence to CRM software for timely and quality tracking of sales activities.
  • Keep management informed about competitive insights, including new product launches and pricing changes.
  • Proactively engage with customer service and pricing teams to resolve any outstanding issues promptly.
  • Ensure successful implementation and compliance with corporate account initiatives.
  • Direct sales forecasting efforts and establish performance objectives accordingly.
  • Review and assess sales performance against established programs, quotes, and plans to evaluate effectiveness.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of high-level B2B sales experience is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead and achieve results through collaboration.
  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities over multiple years.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage various priorities.
  • Experience in developing and deploying sales and service systems.
  • Analytical skills for problem identification and resolution at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Technical proficiency in strategic and sales planning.
  • Experience in account-based employee training and development.
  • Strong customer focus and orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • A strong team player with a commitment to high-performance teams.
  • Dedication to company values.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Professional demeanor and conduct while representing IPG.
  • Willingness to travel overnight, both by car and air, approximately 70% of the time.
  • A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
