Lead Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Special Education Teacher to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Lead Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing educational instruction and services in accordance with the Georgia Department of Education and individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instructional support to teachers and staff to ensure high-quality educational services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement behavioral support plans
- Supervise and mentor special education teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education
- Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Georgia Certified Teacher High School
- Special Education Teaching Certification
- Three years of teaching experience
- Valid Driver's License
