Job Opportunity at Anderson Rehabilitation Institute

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Anderson Rehabilitation Institute, a 34-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. Our hospital provides comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and identify individualized care needs.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Provide patient and family education throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality and Performance Improvement (CQPI) initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  • CRRN certification preferred.
  • Minimum six months' experience in a medical-surgical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
