We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Anderson Rehabilitation Institute. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of maximizing the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing services according to level of licensure.
- Assess and reassess patient needs, identifying and initiating appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification, ACLS preferred.
- IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
