Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Alternative Community Resource Programs Inc. In this role, you will work closely with children and young adults aged 3-21, providing behavioral health services to facilitate their social competencies and emotional development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized behavioral health services to children with psychiatric conditions and significant social, emotional, or developmental challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with families and community members to establish collaborative relationships and utilize available resources for the benefit of the child and family.
  • Transfer skills and strategies learned by children to their parents or guardians to ensure long-term benefits.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in providing behavioral health services.
  • Relevant certifications such as BCA, BA, RBT, BCAT, or behavior health certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and passion for working with children with disabilities.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. Job Type: Full-time.
