Job Summary

The Production Assistant is a critical role in our Accessories department, responsible for providing support to the team in day-to-day operations. This position will be involved in daily projects and responsibilities such as sample management, product testing, factory compliance, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Request, track, and review pre-production and top of production samples.
  • Maintain sample tracking sheets and submit samples to licensors.
  • Review and manage trim layouts, including packaging, UPC stickers, and other label requirements.
  • Gather customer-compliant requirements from sales and communicate with vendors for accurate labeling.
  • Build customer-specific labeling worksheets.
  • Daily communication with overseas vendors.
  • Track samples with overseas vendors and maintain internal sample tracking sheets.
  • Work closely with design, packaging, and development teams for samples.
  • Report directly to the production manager or director for sample and trim timelines.
  • Collaborate with Compliance-QA Team to obtain product fiber contents.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and prior office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in production is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database systems, email, and internet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interpersonal communication with clients and employees.
  • Strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly with keen attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.

Compensation:

This is an on-site position at our NYC office. The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
