Responsibilities- Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI); troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on vehicles and equipment
- Ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of components
- Assist with service calls for breakdowns
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards
- 2+ years of experience working as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
- Hydraulics experience is highly preferred
- Engine and transmission maintenance and repairs
- Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, Peterbilt, and Paccar
- Chassis component repairs and maintenance, including air brakes system, suspension, drivetrain, and steering components
- Maintain and repair exhaust systems equipped with DPF systems
- A valid driver's license is required
