The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled MI-4 Program Controls Deputy Lead/Senior Project Management Engineer to join our team at RS&H. As a key member of our Moving I-4 Forward team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of large, complex, and high-profile projects that meet our clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate the determination of client needs and expectations, providing oversight throughout the project to ensure delivery of a high-quality product that maintains client satisfaction and secures future business.
  • Direct and oversee the development of a detailed scope of work, budget, and schedule, ensuring clear objectives and effective project management.
  • Provide ongoing communication to the project team, ensuring objectives are clear and project progress is transparent.
  • Negotiate contracts and contract amendments with clients, recommending alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring regular status updates and exceptional client experience.
  • Lead and oversee the project team, providing technical direction and coordination throughout the project.
  • Develop and mentor technical and project management professionals, promoting growth and excellence within the team.
  • Oversee project quality planning and quality control, ensuring exceptional results and client satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and recommend new business and client opportunities, building and fostering client relationships to support growth efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited program and 20 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Interior Designer licensure is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to follow through, and ability to work independently with general direction and oversight from leadership.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, set priorities, and manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, demonstrate professional courage, and guide and influence others.
