Job Summary

**Job Title:** Sterile Processing Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by processing and sterilizing medical equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Decontamination and Sterilization:** Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical equipment and supplies using various methods, including steam sterilization and chemical disinfection.
  • **Equipment Assembly and Preparation:** Assemble and prepare medical equipment and supplies for use in patient care, including packaging and labeling.
  • **Quality Control:** Perform quality control checks on sterilized equipment and supplies to ensure they meet established standards.
  • **Inventory Management:** Manage inventory of medical equipment and supplies, including ordering and restocking.
  • **Collaboration and Communication:** Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless processing and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
  • **Education:** Associate's degree in a related healthcare field or equivalent experience.
  • **Certifications:** Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification and Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) certification.
  • **Skills:** Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
