Store Associate
Overview:
This role involves engaging in sales and providing exceptional customer service through various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute sales and customer service functions.
- Handle cashier duties, maintain stockroom organization, and ensure store cleanliness as required.
- Adhere to company standards for personal sales performance metrics.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements outlined here represent the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill these functions.
Position requires standing for approximately 5 to 8 hours daily, typically 3 to 5 days a week.
During high-traffic periods, such as holidays or back-to-school seasons, employees may work extended hours ranging from 1 to 12 hours in a day.
Responsibilities include bending and kneeling to assist customers with merchandise, as well as reaching and pulling to stock items on shelves.
Climbing ladders or navigating stairs may be necessary to retrieve or organize merchandise.
Regular lifting of items weighing between 5 to 25 lbs is expected, with occasional heavier weights.
The company reserves the right to amend this job description at any time.
Employees may be assigned additional tasks outside their usual responsibilities on a temporary basis in accordance with company policy.
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour. This position is eligible for the company 401k plan.
