Mental Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients. As a LVN, you will play a critical role in delivering compassionate and effective care to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Provide injections, medication support, diagnostic reviews, case consult, crisis intervention, and targeted case management services to assist clients with basic needs and symptom management.
- Vitals, health and wellness screenings/assessments, wellness coaching and education.
- Accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
- Dispense and account for prescribed medication, assist psychiatrist in administering and evaluating prescribed medication and arrange lab work according to protocol.
- Shift coverage including part of the on-call team.
- Provide field-based services as required by program and client need.
- Maintain confidentiality of client's care.
- Participate in scheduled program meetings. Attend Quarterly Medication Monitoring Committee.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse in California required.
- Valid CA Driver's License and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
- Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
- Cultural competency understanding required. Bilingual preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
