About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Civil Engineering team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects and teams, ensuring timely completion, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the technical accuracy and documentation of various plans, reports, and design documents.
  • Manage and review the development of design tasks, including conceptual planning, detailed grading, and drainage designs.
  • Perform final ordinance reviews, coordinate utility service research, and assist with outside agency responses.
  • Ensure quality control for all project documents and identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions.
  • Develop project schedules and construction timelines, and manage multiple projects and workload with competing deadlines.
  • Prepare proposal scopes, project schedules, and change orders, as required.
  • Perform financial management, including invoice preparation, accounts receivable, and project profitability.
  • Mentor junior staff, including technical training, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License, required.
  • 10+ years of civil engineering experience.
  • Experience in land development, required.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and the ability to mentor junior staff to enhance their design skills.
  • Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with exceptional analytical and judgment capabilities.
