About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Thalia Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents
  • Provide direct care duties, including bathing, dressing, and grooming residents
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to licensed nursing personnel
  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Requirements
  • Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state
  • Current/active CPR certification, preferred
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate, and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high quality and productivity
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds
  • Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day
  • Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate between $17 and $21
  • $1.00/hour shift diffs for 3p-11p shift or $0.75/hour for 11p-7a shift
  • 1.5X Holiday Pay
  • 1.5X Overtime Pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week

  • Tuition reimbursement through ECPI
