Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (PICU)

Health Advocates Network - Midwest is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the PICU, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • PICU and NICU experience is required.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (OR).
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS for Health Care Providers.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
