About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Specialist II to join our Marketing Department at Kimball Midwest. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating existing and potential products, conducting market research, and developing strategies to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new products for potential additions to the Kimball Midwest product line, ensuring alignment with company strategies.
  • Generate new product sales of at least 0.25% of corporate sales, meeting the minimum GP requirement.
  • Create and present new item presentations and trainings at internal meetings and sales meetings.
  • Research domestic product options for existing imported products or new item concept product lines to ensure competitive pricing and support for the domestic economy.
  • Collaborate with the category management team to define marketing strategies and identify gaps in the assortment, as well as work with the promotions team to execute new product launches.
  • Discover and promote value adds for products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in MRO or industrial settings.
  • 3-5 years of experience marketing products.
  • Working knowledge of the expeditor's role in distributing aftermarket products to various markets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Internal sales skills to present ideas with technical aptitude.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate sales performance and potential.
  • Ability to conduct product testing, including grinding, cutting, drilling, and chemical testing.
