We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design & Drafting Intern to join our dynamic Design team at Daikin Applied.

This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of mechanical design within a leading organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create full-scale 3D models using SolidWorks of HVAC components and assemblies
  • Understand project requirements from Engineering and Marketing, plan out your project and the parts you need to design and execute your own mini-design project
  • Create a summary of the project/s worked on at the end of the summer and present it to management
Requirements:
  • Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Product Design or 1st year student enrolled in an associate degree program in Mechanical Design/Engineering CAD
  • Minimum of 1 year in Mechanical Design schooling using SolidWorks
  • 1 year of experience working with mechanical designs
  • Exposure to using Excel formulas or programming
