Position Overview

The
Room Attendant Support
at MCR Hotels
plays a crucial role in assisting the housekeeping team and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of various hotel areas, including public spaces and service zones.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute daily tasks as directed by the management team.
2. Maintain cleanliness in guest hallways, staircases, service areas, and ice rooms.
3. Collect waste and used linens from housekeeping staff and transport them to the laundry facilities.
4. Promptly address and fulfill guest requests as needed.
5. Monitor the condition and arrangement of public space furnishings, reporting any concerns to management.
6. Restock linen closets and guest amenities on guest floors.
7. Assist housekeepers with the removal of linens and waste from guest rooms as required.
8. Replenish supplies and amenities in designated guest rooms.
9. Organize and maintain the housekeeping cart.
10. Treat guests and colleagues with respect, professionalism, and friendliness.
11. Acquire knowledge about the hotel and its amenities.
12. Follow checklists diligently.
13. Store and retrieve luggage or packages for guests as necessary.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Physical capability to execute job functions with precision and efficiency.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and basic software applications.
- Clear conveyance of information and ideas.
- Commitment to providing excellent service to all guests.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning products.
