We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center - Portland. As a Travel Radiology Technologist - EEG Specialist, you will be responsible for performing EEG procedures, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform EEG procedures on patients of all ages, including neonatal and pediatric patients.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues with IT and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of EEG procedures and patient data.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed.
- ABRET Registered EEG Technologist with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Proficient in collodion method and ambulatory EEG experience with paste, tape, wrap method.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM.
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40.
- Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): N/A.
- Call Requirements: None.
- Number of Beds: 4 outpatient exam rooms.
- Patient Ratios: Must be comfortable with 4+ patients/day.
- Equipment: Natus NeuroWorks.
- EMR: Epic.
