Job Summary

Amerijet International is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cargo Handler to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of cargo, from acceptance to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cargo Acceptance: Verify and inspect incoming cargo to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage and coordinate the movement of cargo within the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and storage.
  • Freight Handling: Safely and efficiently handle cargo, including lifting, carrying, and stacking.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cargo is properly secured and meets quality standards.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain records of cargo transactions, including receipts, shipments, and inventory.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain accurate records.
  • Language: Fluency in English required; bilingualism in English and Spanish a plus.
