Job Opportunity: CDL Delivery Truck Driver

ABC Supply Co. is seeking a skilled CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of building materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough load checks to ensure all delivery materials are securely loaded and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Deliver materials to customers in a timely and professional manner, adhering to assigned delivery schedules and job directives.
  • Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos using our camera phone system.
  • Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set materials and unload them.
  • Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
  • Provide customers with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL - Class B minimum.
  • Ability to lift pounds repeatedly, with most common cargo being 70-pound bundles of shingles.
  • Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
  • Drywall boom truck experience is preferred.
  • Crane certification is preferred.
