STARTING PAY: $16.00 PER HOUR

Allied Universal Event Services is seeking to recruit Event Staff. This role entails responsibilities such as ticket collection, guest welcoming and ushering, and delivering exceptional customer service. Event Staff members are also tasked with managing foot traffic and ensuring the cleanliness and operational efficiency of assigned areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to meet the basic requirements of the position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

  • Assists in all facets of event day preparation and execution.
  • Facilitates proper entry into venues, which may include ticket collection and/or scanning, wristband and badge verification, and directing incoming and outgoing traffic.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the policies, procedures, and regulations specific to various venues and events.
  • Initiates a warm, friendly greeting to guests upon their arrival at your designated area, and expresses gratitude as you conclude your interaction with each guest.
  • Provides guests with useful directions and recommendations to enhance their overall experience.
  • Engages with guests using a friendly tone and natural speaking voice, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS: To succeed in this role, individuals must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and experience required.   • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a background check and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, and may be required to pass a Driver's Record check.
  • Must exhibit professionalism, articulate communication, and sound independent judgment.
  • Availability to work overtime as necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
