Job Summary:

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide general and emergency respiratory therapy procedures to patients as directed by physicians and protocols. Your responsibilities will include respiratory assessment, airway and ventilator management, bi-level non-invasive ventilation management, pulmonary diagnostics, delivery of medicated aerosols, bronchial hygiene therapy, lung expansion therapy, intubation, CPR, bronchoscopy assistance, arterial line placement, arterial sampling, and ABG analysis and interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess patients' clinical conditions and make independent judgments to modify care as necessary.
* Routinely make rounds with physicians in critical care units and act as a preceptor to support and develop new and existing staff members.
* Collaborate with the department manager on Performance Improvement projects and other duties as needed.

Requirements:

* License to practice respiratory care in the state of employment (Idaho or Oregon).
* Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
* Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross at hire.
