Job Summary:

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will provide general and emergency respiratory therapy procedures to patients as directed by physicians and protocols.

Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory assessment, airway and ventilator management, bi-level non-invasive ventilation management, pulmonary diagnostics, delivery of medicated aerosols, bronchial hygiene therapy, lung expansion therapy, intubation, CPR, bronchoscopy assistance, arterial line placement, arterial sampling, and ABG analysis and interpretation.

Assess changes in patient clinical condition, make independent judgments, and modify care as necessary according to departmental policies and approved physician protocols.

Routinely make rounds with physicians in critical care units and act as a preceptor to support and develop new and existing staff members.

Requirements:

License to practice respiratory care in the state of employment (Idaho or Oregon).

Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross at hire.
