About This OpportunityJob Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Director, Product Marketing to spearhead end-to-end marketing strategies for PayPal's Microbusiness solutions portfolio. The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, possessing a strong background in product marketing and go-to-market planning, with the ability to identify what makes a product or feature exceptional.
This role involves defining and refining product roadmaps, developing impactful marketing strategies to fuel portfolio growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and innovation in our product offerings and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Develop product positioning and messaging for products and features driven by merchant feedback, competitive research, and deep understanding of our Microbusiness solutions.
- Scope and execute global marketing strategies informed by qualitative and quantitative insights across multiple customer segments.
- Partner with analytics and leadership to track and report growth KPIs continuously.
- Collaborate with Product/Design/Eng/Market Research to influence product roadmaps aimed at increasing product adoption, differentiation, and customer growth.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across business lines, influencing and shaping product and marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product development and positioning.
- 7-10 years of experience in product marketing, specifically around digital and small business solutions; bonus points for expertise in marketing to emerging businesses and solopreneurs.
- Experience working in B2B settings and on marketing or growth strategies in a product lifecycle.
- Passion for customer-centric strategy, generating qualitative and quantitative insights, and using those insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Team player who knows how to navigate complex challenges and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Fast learner capable of problem-solving and adapting quickly.
- Results-driven individual with a sense of urgency and bias for action.
This role offers a salary range of $118,700 to $246,290 annually, based on factors including work location and relevant skills and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy a balanced hybrid work model offering three days in the office and two days at your choice of either the PayPal office or home workspace.
