As a Licensed Practical Nurse at ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lancaster, you will be responsible for providing general nursing care to patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician's orders and established standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement orders for medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with nursing care plan as written by the Registered Nurse.
- Participate in evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in relation to patient responses and seek guidance in redirection when necessary.
- Assist in identification of patient's learning needs and reinforce self-care and other techniques.
- Report to supervisor on patient care rendered, problems concerning patients' needs, and resolution to those needs as well as appropriately designate applicable charges to individual patients using the hospital's established system.
- Help identify patient problems and potential risks and contribute to the development of interventions.
- Provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements for Consideration:
- A minimum of 2 (two) years' experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Current state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse required.
- Current CPR certification required.
