Job Title: Route Supervisor

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Route Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and developing Route Service Managers (RSMs) to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth. You'll work closely with our Market General Manager to set goals and ensure our team is meeting them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, train, and develop RSMs to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Market General Manager to set goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Generate and distribute daily and weekly reports to support RSMs in their roles.
  • Train RSMs on policies and procedures, including proper paperwork and safety protocols.
  • Maintain knowledge of our operation's financial results and how the RSM team impacts them.
  • Ensure RSMs comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work with the Assistant Manager to maintain our vehicle fleet and ensure timely servicing.
  • Maintain contact with dealers to gather feedback on our service quality.
  • Fill in on routes or assist with hot shot deliveries as needed.
  • Help load, unload, and count trucks as needed.
  • Ride along with RSMs to evaluate training needs and provide feedback.
  • Instill a culture of innovation and customer focus within the team.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales, customer service, and delivery experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior sales management experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and compute basic math.
  • Valid Class B (or higher) CDL and an acceptable driving record.
  • Successful completion of a post-offer criminal background check and drug test.
Work Environment:

This role requires frequent independent judgment and decision-making. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth. You'll be exposed to battery warehouse conditions, including moving equipment, mechanical parts, and potential hazards.
