Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Closing Manager, you will oversee and manage all facets of loan closings. Your expertise will ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and guiding loan closing associates to maintain high morale and exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinating all funding activities, including those delegated to assistants.
  • Anticipating funding requirements and managing timelines to achieve funding objectives.
  • Verifying insurance coverage and ensuring that all underwriting contingencies are satisfied before closing.
  • Collaborating with lenders, escrow officers, and branch managers to facilitate seamless closings.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in funding and processing, including knowledge of both conventional and government loans.
  • Proficiency in mortgage software and strong skills in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • A solid understanding of title report endorsements and potential issues.
