About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Parent to join our team at St. Joseph's Indian School. As a House Parent, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for our students, promoting their academic, emotional, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Care and Support
    • Provide individualized attention and support to students, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.
  • Home Management
    • Ensure the student living facility is safe, secure, and clean, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and organization.
    • Manage student home budgets, food, and supply inventories, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, maintaining open and transparent relationships.
    • Collaborate with the Residential Coordinator and other staff members to ensure seamless support for students.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential care or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
