We are seeking a Midrise Project Supervisor to join our team at PSG Global Solutions. This role is essential in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities- Examine all project documentation, including plans and contracts, to identify any constructability, dimensional, or coordination challenges.
- Provide guidance to the Project Manager regarding any identified issues.
- Assess the site logistics plan before work commencement and highlight any potential concerns.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Safety Team to establish the field office and determine necessary resources.
- Oversee on-site personnel, including Assistant Supervisors and Safety Managers, ensuring their work aligns with project standards.
- Review and validate all submittals prior to the installation phase, notifying the Project Manager of any discrepancies.
- Develop a comprehensive plan for benchmarks, axis lines, foundation stakes, and other critical control points.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure control points are accurately set and maintained by the trades.
- Monitor and uphold established standards, ensuring the correct materials and equipment are utilized.
- Perform daily inspections and complete Project Quality Control checklists in collaboration with the project team.
- Facilitate the orderly completion of work, minimizing the need for rework or punch lists.
- Inspect the site upon project completion and generate punch lists as necessary.
- Follow up with trades to ensure all tasks are finalized.
- Conduct weekly meetings with trade foremen to discuss progress and address any concerns.
- Ensure adherence to the project schedule consistently.
- Review the overall baseline project schedule with the Project Manager, advising on any potential issues.
- Work with the Project Manager to establish major milestone dates and monitor progress.
- Coordinate the mobilization of subcontractors ahead of their required involvement in the project.
