Job Title: Wine Ambassador

Job Summary:

Maryhill Winery is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Wine Ambassador to join our team. As a Wine Ambassador, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our wines, and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all guests
• Promote our wines and educate guests on our wine offerings
• Assist with wine tastings and sales
• Work collaboratively with the tasting room team to create a welcoming and engaging environment
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our wines, including their characteristics, pairings, and production methods
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Follow safety and sanitization practices at all times

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the wine industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Knowledge of wine and wine service is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs frequently
• Washington State Food Handlers and MAST certification or ability to acquire upon hire
