Restaurant Operations Manager

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a talented Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead our team in Odessa, Texas. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a high-volume restaurant environment, with experience in hiring, training, and supervising teams. You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the culture and vision of our restaurant, working closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that drive business results. We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $58,000 per year, plus bonus potential, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation time.
Job Description- Manage all functions of the restaurant during all shifts
- Hire, manage, supervise, and train team members to ensure an unforgettable guest experience
- Conduct daily briefings on matters of importance to the team
- Manage local restaurant marketing, sales building, and community involvement
- Manage all necessary repair and maintenance issues
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume atmosphere
- Strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements
- Passion for the development and mentoring of others
- Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are encouraged to apply
- Willingness to travel to Dallas, Texas for 5 weeks of training before returning to the restaurant in Odessa
