Position Overview

Under the guidance of the Nutrition Services Manager and Supervisor, the role of the Nutritional Services Host emphasizes outstanding customer service within patient services. This position is crucial in ensuring a high standard of service across all operational areas.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient meals with care and attention.
  • Assist in basic food preparation.
  • Provide meal services to guests and staff.
  • Support tube feeding processes as required.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year in hospitality, customer service, or general labor is preferred. Experience in nutritional services within a healthcare setting is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently, employing critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in using departmental equipment as specified.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending.
