Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Establish and maintain financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead the finance team to achieve financial targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to guide profitable growth and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with external reporting obligations and statutory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a similar executive leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, FAR Cost Principles, and CAS experience.
  • Proficient skills in Government Accounting Software and Platforms, including QuickBooks, MS Office, and Excel.
  • Experience with Unanet ERP and DFARS Business Systems audit.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a financial and contractual team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
